G. Srikanth started Carnatic music lessons under his mother Leelavathy Gopalakrishnan and has since received advance training from Sangeetha Kalanidhi T. M. Thyagarajan and O. S. Thyagarajan. Simultaneously he learnt many compositions from veterans like Sangeetha Kalanidhi T. K. Govinda Rao, Sangeetha Mahopadhyaya T. R. Subramaniam, Neyveli Santhanagopalan and A. Sundaresan. With a Masters Degree in Indian Music from University of Madras, Chennai, Srikanth is graded artiste at the All India Radio, Chennai. Having toured extensively in India and abroad, he has had a versatile career as Principal of a Music College, designer of a musical quiz program ‘Andadi’ in Tamil for Vijay TV, conducting workshops on rare compositions, tuning over 200 Dasarnamas and recording several CDs. He also runs a music school, ‘Madhura Dhwani’ wherein over 100 students are being trained in Classical Carnatic Music.
A versatile mridangam exponent, B.P. Haribabu has trained under exemplary gurus - V.P. Ramadas and ThiruvaroorBhakthavatsalam. In 1988 after study at the Tamil Nadu Govt. Music College, he was awarded ‘Vaadhya Visharadha’. Relentless hard work, perseverance, creative talent combined with a cheerful countenance has paved the road to his success. His 20 years of work and expertise in the field have won him accolades worldwide. Adept at playing several percussion instruments - the tabla,pakawaj, kanjira, nattuvangam and rhythm composing, Haribabu has accompanied several distinguished artistes and toured over 17 countries. He has established ‘Craft Innovative’ through which he assists in invitation design, stage décor and manufacturing fiberglass dance instruments.
A young and upcoming flutist, Mohan Raj Jayaraman received his ‘Vadhya Kalaimani’ diploma from the Tamil Nadu Govt. Music College in 2005. Mohan teaches Carnatic music at the Sri Shakthi Cultural Gurushobaa and performs solo and with musical ensembles. Since 2009, he has been a resident accompanist at the Divyanjali School of Dance, Chennai and has accompanied other dancers and dance companies based in Chennai, both in India and abroad.
Kiran Athreya is a disciple of violin maestro Sri. Delhi P. Sunder Rajan, and has beenlearning since age 10. Kiran, a recipient of 2008 ACTA (Alliance for California Traditional Arts) scholarship, has performed extensively in Southern California and Arizona. He is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in public health.
